Trish (Patricia) is an experienced 2007 Sutherland-Chan graduate with 4 years tenure as a practical and clinical instructor of massage therapy. She enjoys performing relaxation and therapeutic work for people in all walks of life.
She integrates a variety of elements into all her treatments such as thermotherapy, fascial work, aromatherapy, manual stretching and joint mobilizations to create a holistic experience. This is helpful for clients of all ages and stages of health, and benefits those experiencing symptoms from arthritis, TMJ (jaw) pain syndrome, repetitive strain and postural issues and tension-related headaches. Trish has experience in pre and post natal massage, scar work for post-mastectomy and other surgical clients, as well as body work for those with chronic pelvic pain. Additionally, Trish employs massage approaches that support lymphatic drainage for overall wellness and also for specific situations, such as lymphedema, post-surgical indications or swelling related to pregnancy.
Trish is a firm believer in self-care and education for patients; a successful treatment ends when you leave the treatment room with reduction in pain and tension, feeling relaxed and rejuvenated, and equipped with self-care suggestions to help prolong the benefits of your massage.
