Myla is a dedicated Osteopathic Manual Practitioner who graduated from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in 2023 and is a proud member of the Ontario Osteopathic Association. With a lifelong passion for helping others, Myla was drawn to osteopathy after her own experience with injury. After playing competitive soccer and hockey, she sought various treatments including physiotherapy and massage therapy, but it wasn’t until she discovered osteopathy that she found meaningful relief. Inspired by this holistic and effective approach, she committed herself to helping others experience the same benefits.
Myla offers a comprehensive, hands-on treatment approach that supports the body’s natural ability to restore balance and function. Through gentle osteopathic techniques, she works with the muscles, joints, tissues, and circulation to help reduce pain, improve mobility, and support overall well-being. At The WOMB, Myla is especially excited to care for people through pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and the early years of parenting, as well as supporting babies and children as their bodies grow and develop. Her care may be helpful for concerns such as back and neck pain, headaches, sciatica, TMJ concerns, joint pain, posture changes, pregnancy-related discomfort, postpartum recovery, feeding-related tension, body tension in babies, and the physical changes that can come with birth and early parenthood.
Myla is deeply fascinated by the body’s functionality and is constantly amazed by the way osteopathy can support the body’s natural function. She strives to create a welcoming and supportive environment where each patient’s health concerns are thoroughly heard and addressed. In her free time, Myla enjoys playing sports, reading, spending quality time with family and friends, and hiking in nature.
