**What were you doing before pursuing RMT?**
Prior to attending VCMT, I worked in the service/hospitality industry where I developed a love for helping others. I was drawn to massage therapy as it gives me the opportunity to help people in a more impactful way.
**Why do you want to be an RMT?**
Growing up, my mom worked as an X-ray technician which sparked my interest in the healthcare field. When I learned about how useful massage therapy is for both rehabilitation and relaxation, I realized this would be both a meaningful and interesting path to pursue. I was looking for a way to build meaningful long term connections and help people with their healing and wellness.
**How do you like to spend your time outside of work/school?**
In my free time I enjoy making crafts, going on walks, as well as visiting new restaurants and cafes.
**What is your favourite thing about VCMT?**
My favourite part of VCMT is my supportive cohort, and teachers. They are always encouraging and want everyone to succeed.
