Mylee co-founded Physiostation & Sports Injury Clinic in 2014 to bring her unique skill set as a physiotherapist to a broader community.
With over a decade of experience as a senior physiotherapist and a background as a competitive athlete, Mylee is passionate about helping clients reach their full physical potential. Her work spans all levels of sport, from youth and recreational athletes to elite and professional competitors. She has worked with NFL players, the BC Lions, and National Lacrosse League athletes, and served as the team physiotherapist for the Langley Thunder Senior A Lacrosse Team for five seasons. Mylee has also provided contract physiotherapy services to the Canadian Women’s National Soccer Team and recently worked with PWHL players, whom she’s excited to welcome to the local community.
Mylee holds a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from Curtin University of Technology in Perth, Australia, and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University, where she received athletic scholarships to play both varsity soccer and softball. She has advanced training in Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS), is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT) the highest level of manual therapy training in Canada and holds a Sport Physiotherapy Certificate.
She is also a four-time inductee into the BC Sports Hall of Fame, recognized for her outstanding achievements and contributions to sport in the province.
Mylee’s continuing education includes Body Balance for Performance courses, and she has instructed at golf schools for women. She played and coached the Surrey United Women’s Premier Soccer Team, the most successful team in Canadian club soccer history.
Outside the clinic, Mylee enjoys spending time outdoors with her two kids. She’s currently learning to play hockey alongside them, though she admits they’re already better than her, and has developed a newfound love for the sport. She also enjoys bike riding, fishing, and trying new activities with her kids.
Mylee treats clients from all walks of life, including those recovering from acute sports injuries, managing chronic conditions, rehabilitating from workplace injuries, and undergoing concussion management. She also offers athlete screenings focused on injury prevention and performance optimization.
