Myles was born and raised in Sudbury ON, he received his Advanced Diploma where he graduated with Honours from the Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture program offered at Georgian College, in Barrie Ontario. He has a deep interest in holistic medicine and he highly believes in the body’s ability to naturally heal itself when given the right tools and guidance.
Myles likes to use different modalities within his Acupuncture sessions such as Cupping, Fascial Scraping (gua-sha), Acupressure and Electro-Acupuncture to help further stimulate the healing response at the targeted muscle groups and points.
Myles enjoys exercising, stretching and visiting the gym for regular workouts. He has suffered himself from upper and lower back injuries in the past and understands the importance of loosening, warming up, and strengthening each muscle group for effective injury prevention. For this reason he enjoys working with individuals with sports and weightlifting injuries.
As a Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncturist he has studied the Meridian systems, which are energy pathways rooted deep within our bodies that each have specific points to help treat not only pain, but also systemic concerns related to organs and their corresponding functions.
With that being said, Myles can treat a wide range of ailments. A few things he loves to focus on and has seen great success with improving are headaches and migraines, TMJ, calf cramping and back pain of all sorts!
