**Biography**
Nadia is a pelvic health and orthopedic physiotherapist with over 15 years of experience. In addition to her physiotherapy degree from McGill University, she also holds a Doctorate in Rehabilitation Science. Her research has centered around women's pelvic health, including pelvic floor muscle assessment, urinary incontinence, pelvic girdle pain, and diastasis recti abdominis. Her work has been published in several prestigious, peer-reviewed scientific journals, including Physical Therapy, the Journal of Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy, and Neurourology and Urodynamics.
Nadia is actively involved in knowledge translation through her role as a sessional Clinical Assistant Professor in the Physical Therapy program at the University of Alberta. Her extensive clinical experience, combined with her research and educational background, lends itself to a high level of critical thinking and the ability to view patients' symptoms with a unique lens.
**Style/Ideology**
Being an educator herself, Nadia is a firm believer in lifelong learning. Her practice is constantly evolving through courses, attending conferences, and by engaging in reflective practice.
**Fun Fact**
She enjoys travelling the world, indulging in good food, and having a restful sleep. She successfully combined these passions when she climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, had a snack, and took a nap at the summit, altitude be damned!
