Hi I’m Nadine! I’m excited to join Novo as a Registered Nurse proving breastfeeding/ lactation and bottle feeding support services!I’ve been a registered nurse in the neonatal intensive care unit for 18 years and am a mom of five. I have specialized training and years of experience helping parents and babies in their feeding journeys. The benefits of breast/ chest feeding are widely known for both parent and baby but what I’m most passionate about empowering parents with skills and knowledge to best feed and confidently care for their baby. I will be providing prenatal breastfeeding classes, private consultations on feeding/latching challenges and other feeding support (pumping, increasing or decreasing supply, and bottle feeding). Outside of my passion for caring for families, you can usually find me trying to decode my kids slang, trying new recipes or jumping in puddles my little ones. I’m looking forward to supporting you!

Whether you’re encountering challenges with latch, milk supply, or other breastfeeding issues, this session offers a chance to troubleshoot and make adjustments. Your consultant will assess your baby’s growth, answer questions, and offer practical tips to optimize your feeding routine, ensuring both you and your baby are on track for a successful nursing experience.

The Initial Assessment is a comprehensive one-on-one consultation designed to evaluate your unique breastfeeding needs and goals. During this session, your lactation consultant will review your pregnancy and birth history, observe your baby’s latch, and assess milk supply, positioning, and any challenges you may be facing. Together, we’ll create a personalized plan to ensure a successful breastfeeding journey, addressing any concerns, and offering support and education on techniques that will help you feel confident as you begin nursing.

Prenatal Prep is a proactive consultation to help you prepare for breastfeeding before your baby arrives. This session focuses on setting realistic expectations, teaching you the basics of breastfeeding, and helping you understand key topics such as latch, positioning, and early milk production. Your lactation consultant will guide you through the process of creating a plan for your post-birth breastfeeding experience, so you feel confident and prepared to start your journey on the right foot.
