Nancy is a graduate of Queen's University with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor of Physical Education. She also holds a Diploma in Sport Physiotherapy (specialist) and a Certificate in Medical Acupuncture. She is a clinical lecturer within the School of Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto. Nancy specializes in a manual therapy approach to her treatments and exercise based sport injury rehabilitation techniques. She is a certified Pilates instructor and teaches Pilates Reformer at the clinic and classes for Physical Edge clients.
Nancy was a member of the Canadian Medical Team at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics & 2004 Athens, 2008 Beijing, 2012 London Paralympics and Toronto 2015 PanAm and ParaPan Am Games. She was Chief Therapist for Team Canada at the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games and 2018 PyeongChang Winter Paralympic Games and again at the 2020+1 Tokyo Paralympic Games.
Nancy loves to spend time on the water. She is a former Sprint Kayaker and has raced internationally in Dragon Boat, Outrigger Canoe and most recently Surfski.

A 30 minute assessment designed to allow you to book in as soon as possible for an acute (recent onset) injury. Our 30 minute assessment will help direct your care to assess the potential need for imaging (x-rays, ultrasound, etc), a follow up with your doctor, urgent care or continue with physiotherapy/chiropractic treatment, as well as get pain management strategies underway. We will also forward assessment findings to your primary care physician upon your request. This is not intended to replace urgent care - please visit the emergency room if necessary.
This non-invasive treatment is designed to enhance circulation, reduce swelling, and accelerate the recovery process for a variety of conditions.
