During a pelvic floor physiotherapy initial assessment, patients can expect a thorough and respectful evaluation tailored to their individual concerns. The initial assessment typically includes a detailed discussion of medical history, bladder and bowel habits, sexual health, and any symptoms such as pain, leakage, or pressure. A physical examination may involve both external and internal assessment (with patient consent) to evaluate muscle tone, strength, coordination, and any areas of tenderness or dysfunction. Based on these findings, the physiotherapist will develop a personalized treatment plan. Follow-up appointments focus on monitoring progress, adjusting exercises or techniques as needed, and providing ongoing education and support to help patients achieve their goals and improve pelvic health over time. This appointment is scheduled on Saturdays only. Please note that this service is not available to patients who have pelvic pain, vaginismus, dyspareunia or prostatitis. Patients with these conditions should consult with their family doctor or health care provider.

Active based therapy utilizing the Neubie DC current to enhance the speed and efficacy of healing. The initial visit involves a scan using the Neubie DC current to establish the specific treatment sites, a thorough history and physical evaluation, as well as some treatment.

Free 15 Minute Meet and Greet with the physiotherapist to learn more about how this treatment can help you. This 15 minute consultation is complimentary and provides an opportunity to ask questions to see if this treatment is right for you.

Extended Physiotherapy Treatment - 45 Minute Visit

Patients have an opportunity to discuss their treatment progress with the physiotherapist and share any ongoing concerns they may have related to any symptoms such as pain, leakage, or pressure. The physiotherapist will evaluate and update the personalized treatment plan as needed. The appointment focuses on monitoring progress, adjusting exercises or techniques as needed, and providing ongoing education and support to help patients achieve their goals and improve pelvic health over time.

TECAR Therapy using the WINBACK technology. Used to treat soft tissue and joint related pain in a painless manner. TECAR Therapy is a transfer of energy at various frequencies to aid in tissue healing and repair. The patient perceives a warm and soothing heat sensation.
