The subtlety of the Prana (Reiki) session typically starts out with an experience of subtle shifts, possibly in temperature, but most often experienced as a sensation of enhanced relaxation, which of course facilitates the body state/nervous system functions of rest and restoration while the body is held in the state of relaxation. It typically has a more general focus but often has the strange effect of influencing any current issues toward a more positive outcome.

Cupping massage is a therapy in which glass or plastic cups are suctioned onto the skins surface through negative pressure. The pressure stimulates the lymphatic system to drain excessive fluids and toxins, pulls fresh blood flow to stagnant muscles and skin, loosens adhesions and stubborn knots in the muscle and myofascial tissue and stimulates the nervous system.

Usual reactions from a session may include feeling a sense of lightness and tingling in the body, a feeling of warmth throughout the body and a feeling or relaxation. Other reactions can include perspiration of hands or feet, the sensation of being cold or chilled, feeling light-headed, sleepiness, coughing, crying, laughing and rarely some muscle tenderness.

Deep tissue massage is a type of massage therapy that focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It is especially helpful for chronic aches and pains and contracted areas such as stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, leg muscle tightness, and sore shoulders. The movement is much slower and the pressure is deeper and concentrated on areas of tension and pain in order to reach the sub-layer of muscles.

Dynamic Cupping is a combination of massage movements and the suction the cups create on the areas applied to the body. It uses these movements to help enhance the effectiveness of the cups for a less invasive style of treatment but still yields plenty of benefits such as the break down of scar tissue, pain relief, promoting circulation and range of motion.

Prenatal massage shares many of the goals of regular massage – to relax tense muscles, ease sore spots, improve circulation and mobility, and just make you feel good. But it's also tailored specifically to the needs of pregnant women and their changing bodies, and the therapist adjusts their techniques accordingly.

A Prana (Reiki) Massage Session is a 90 minute hybrid session in which a 60 minute customized massage therapy treatment (typically a relaxation session but can be therapeutic) is combined with a 30 minute “energy work” (Reiki/Prana) session. Massage therapy addresses the physical issues and interacts with the seen aspects of the person on the table using massage therapy techniques that influence the nervous system, and it is perfectly paired with the unseen and more subtle aspects of the recipient by interacting with the Life Force Energy (Prana) with the intention to support and create positive change.
