Nate completed his Master of Science in Physical Therapy at Queen’s University after earning his Bachelor of Human Kinetics from the University of Windsor. During his academic years, he specialized in movement science, conducting athletic performance testing with OUA football, soccer, and hockey teams. He also completed a thesis in the field of ergonomics and cognitive workload. During this time, he also worked as both a rehabilitation assistant and a fitness instructor.
Before moving to the East Coast, Nate practiced in Ontario, where he worked closely with orthopaedic surgeons, specializing in both conservative and post-operative care. His expertise includes ACL and meniscal injuries, labral tears, joint replacements, and rotator cuff pathologies. With experience across the lifespan, he also manages chronic pain, osteoarthritis, and a wide range of other musculoskeletal conditions. During his time in Hamilton, his clinic partnered with professional football and soccer teams, including the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Forge FC.
Nate is passionate about evidence-based care and takes a collaborative approach to treatment. He emphasizes education, exercise, and lifestyle strategies to empower clients and help them build confidence in their movement. His rehabilitation philosophy combines manual therapy, exercise, dry needling, and other modalities with an active, functional approach tailored to each individual’s goals.
Outside the clinic, Nate enjoys staying active through hockey, golf, and squash. He also loves spending time outdoors, exploring new restaurants, and connecting with family and friends.
