Nima Mazinani is Movability’s nervous system acupuncturist. His work is for people who feel tense, wired, depleted, restless, burned out, or unable to fully switch off.
As a Registered Acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine educator, Nima uses acupuncture, cupping, and Gua Sha to support the nervous-system side of pain, stress, sleep, tension, and recovery. His approach is calm, precise, and whole-person focused, helping patients understand how stress load, sleep quality, muscle tension, pain sensitivity, and recovery are connected.
Many patients see Nima when their body feels stuck in protection mode. This can show up as jaw clenching, neck and shoulder tension, headaches, poor sleep, stress-related pain flares, muscle guarding, low energy, or a sense that the body is always bracing.
At Movability, Nima plays an important role in team-based care. His work supports the regulation layer that often sits underneath chronic tension, pain, burnout, and poor recovery. When the nervous system is overloaded, the body may stay guarded even after manual therapy, rehab, massage, or corrective exercise. Nima’s care helps support the body’s ability to settle, release, and become more receptive to long-term change.
Treatment may include acupuncture, cupping, or Gua Sha, selected intentionally based on your presentation and your capacity that day. Nima also offers cosmetic acupuncture for patients seeking natural support for facial tone, skin vitality, and whole-body regulation.
Nima’s care is paced, consent-based, and grounded in both Traditional Chinese Medicine principles and Movability’s root-cause approach.
