Nyah Lai-Smith is a highly skilled and multi-disciplined therapist dedicated to helping patients achieve their health and wellness goals. A graduate of the Massage Therapy program at Centennial College, Nyah was recognized with Academic Honours by the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association from 2019 to 2022. She also holds certification as a Fascial Stretch Therapist from the renowned Stretch to Win Institute.
Nyah takes a personalized and holistic approach to care, tailoring each treatment to meet her patients' unique needs. She employs a wide range of techniques, including Swedish massage, fascial stretching, joint mobilizations, fire/dry cupping, and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM). While Nyah is proficient in multiple therapeutic methods, she takes particular pride in delivering deep tissue massages that leave patients feeling rejuvenated and relieved. Whether you’re seeking relaxation, recovering from an acute or chronic injury, or maintaining overall wellness, Nyah ensures every treatment is a transformative experience.
With a deep-rooted passion for athletics, Nyah discovered her love for basketball and volleyball at a young age, excelling as a competitive player throughout high school, REP/AAU and college, where she served as team captain in her senior year. Her personal experiences with sports-related injuries ignited her appreciation for therapy, movement, and exercise, ultimately inspiring her to pursue a career in healthcare. This background informs her dedication to helping others return to the activities they love with confidence and vitality.
When she's not in the clinic, Nyah loves spending her time powerlifting, crafting delicious high-protein treats in the kitchen, and catching up on her well-deserved rest with her dog Bentley.
