**What were you doing before pursuing RMT?**
Before pursuing RMT, I was working as a head chef and was involved in menu development. I loved the creativity of the role, but I was ready for a career that allowed me to connect with people in a more hands-on, wellness-focused way.
**Why do you want to be an RMT?**
I want to become an RMT because I have personally experienced the benefits of massage therapy and how much it can improve overall well-being. I want to help others experience that same relief, whether it’s reducing pain, stress, or improving their quality of life.
**How do you like to spend your time outside of work/school?**
Outside of work and school, I enjoy spending time outdoors. I love hiking, my favourite local hike is Saint Mark’s Summit. I also enjoy cooking, gardening, playing with my dogs, and going to local shows to listen to live music.
**What is your favourite thing about VCMT?**
My favourite thing about VCMT is the strong sense of support within the community and our cohort. I really value being part of an environment where everyone genuinely wants to see each other succeed. I also enjoy the fun events like the pancake breakfast!
