Olya was raised in a family of Physicists and had never considered becoming an
acupuncturist. She received a Master’s Degree in Business and enjoyed a successful career for almost 20 years. After giving birth to her second son, she fell
seriously ill. Luckily, a seven-year struggle with constant severe pain was finished when Olya found acupuncture. It was the only treatment that was effective for
her.
Olya was so encouraged by this positive change that she decided to shift her
career and bring back to the community this healing power of Chinese Medicine.
Once she was on this new path, she was able to quickly apply important skillsets
from her previous career, such as finding the root causes of problems and effective
self-study to investigate new ways to help patients. Olya treats every patient as a
unique individual and tailors each treatment plan very carefully. She applies
different approaches based on the patient’s needs, some might benefit from
orthopaedic acupuncture, and others need Tan’s balance method, scalp acupuncture, or
auricular therapy. Her special areas of research include pain control, digestive
issues, women’s health, and emotional trauma support.
Olya has a sincere desire to take care of everyone who needs it with the help of
acupuncture. Her belief is that regular acupuncture treatment, and small changes in
diet, lifestyle, and exercise can trigger huge positive changes in the body at any
age.
Olya also is fluent in Russian and Ukrainian.
