Oscar Mejia
Oscar works with children, teens, adults, and families. He holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and a Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice. He brings many years of experience supporting children and families through life’s challenges.
Oscar has experience helping people navigate anxiety, depression, emotion dysregulation, behavioural concerns, relationship struggles, substance use, trauma, and the impacts of domestic violence. He understands that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, especially for children and teens, and he works to make therapy feel safe, approachable, and supportive.

His approach is warm and collaborative, with a strong focus on understanding feelings and building on existing strengths. Oscar practices with cultural humility and meets each person where they are, moving at a pace that feels right for them.
With specialized training in EMDR, family and couples therapy, trauma treatment, and attachment-based work, Oscar is committed to helping children feel safe, teens feel heard, and adults feel supported as they create meaningful, lasting change.
Oscar is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
