Lydia was born and raised in Calgary, AB and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary. She later called Ontario home when attending Queen's University in Kingston when completing her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy. Her experience involves over 14 years working professionally with children in areas such as youth coaching, in-home services, and various organizations and programs for children with neuromotor disabilities, developmental delays, and other complex disabilities.
Lydia is an AADL certified Occupational Therapist and can support with acquiring incontinence products. She is also certified in the SOS Approach to Feeding, oral motor training for pre-feeding skills, Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES), and trained in Interoception approaches.
Lydia has a strong passion for working with children and youth in a holistic and family-centered manner to establish and accomplish meaningful goals, valuing trust and respect to provide compassionate and fun service.
When not working with children and their families, Lydia loves to enjoy traveling to new places, eating great food, reading, playing board games, and spending time with family and friends.
