Paola is a lactation consultant with over 10 years of medical background and over 2000 hours of clinical experience helping families to have a happy breastfeeding journey.
She is an Internationally Educated Physician, a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, the gold standard certification for health professionals working with breastfeeding families. She’s always updating her knowledge with continuing education to give families the best care.
Paola holds a diploma in Child Nutrition and provides families with advice on how to feed their babies when starting solids or supplementing. She's also a Certified Pediatric Sleep Specialist and help families and babies sleep better with an holistic approach focused in attachment and well-being.
She specializes in Tethered Oral Tissues (tongue and lip ties) and in the last years she has worked with several families with tongue-tied babies, along with pediatric dentists and pediatricians, including Dr. Jack Newman in the International Breastfeeding Center in Toronto. She also specializes in Breastfeeding Multiples and has plenty of experience working with mothers in their Relactation journey and with Low Milk Supply.
As a mother herself, she understands the difficulties that women can face when feeding their babies, and that’s why her mission is to support, educate and empower mamas with evidence based information so that they can feel confident and give their babies the best start.
For Paola, every family is special, and giving them judgement-free support by working on their unique feeding goals is her number one priority.

We will conduct a comprehensive health assessment to ensure IV therapy is suitable for you. If you have any recent labwork (within the past 6-12 months), please bring the results in as they will help determine your eligibility. After the assessment, an initial IV will be provided.

We will assess your specific situation to determine the best plan for you, respecting your goals and protecting your baby’s well-being at all times. Before choosing the right plan for you, we will make a comprehensive assessment and rule out possible causes of frequent nighttime awakenings. If you wish to drop night feeds, we will assess whether it is safe and how to do it gently, always responding to your baby throughout the process. If all you need is to implement healthy sleep habits and understand the relationship between feeding and sleep, learn about co-sleeping and/or transitioning the baby to his crib or room, we are also here to answer your questions. This consultation includes: - Intake form with clinical history and initial assessment. - Education and strategies based on your current situation and your baby's age, a summary will be sent via email after our online meeting. - 60 min video call where we will discuss everything in detail and doubts will be answered. - Any pertinent resources and handouts.
