What to Expect During a SoftWave™ Mapping Session A mapping session is the first step in SoftWave™ therapy. It helps us find the exact areas in your body that need treatment. During the session, a handheld device is moved over the area where you have pain or limited movement. The device sends gentle sound waves into your tissue. • Healthy tissue usually feels like mild tapping or vibration. • Injured or inflamed tissue often feels more tender or sharp when the waves pass through. This response helps us “map” the spots that need the most attention. The session usually takes about 10–15 minutes. There are no needles, no anesthesia, and nothing invasive. Once the mapping is complete, we can begin treating the problem areas right away if appropriate.

During your SoftWave™ treatment, gentle sound waves are applied to the affected area to help reduce pain and support tissue healing. The session is non-invasive, usually takes 10–20 minutes, and you may feel light tapping or vibration. Some relief can be immediate, but full benefits often develop over several treatments
