Hi, I’m Patricia. I was born in Ontario but moved around quite a bit before deciding to settle down in Lethbridge. I am excited to explore the area and the community and meet new people.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Health Physiology from the
University of Calgary and my Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Saskatchewan.
I’ve spent much of my life in the pool, as a competitive swimmer, first throughout
high school and then I was part of the Varsity Swim Team through the University of Calgary. I was also a part of the University of Calgary’s rowing team for my last few years of university. I have continued my swimming career by completing a fundamental coaching certificate. If I’m not at the pool, you will most likely find me with my nose in a book or out on the lake rowing.
During my time as an athlete, I experienced my fair share of injuries which led me down my path to becoming a physiotherapist. I had a huge appreciation for physiotherapists growing up as they ensured that I could continue the sport and
activities that I loved. Now, as a physiotherapist myself, I wish to
use the knowledge and experience I have gained to help people return to the activities that they love so that they can enjoy their lives to the fullest. I believe it
is important to empower people with the knowledge and skills to take control of their recovery for long term quality of life. I have trained in vestibular therapy to help those with dizziness and balance issues
I look forward to meeting with you and being a part of your recovery and
functional journey!
