Paul is passionate about helping his clients achieve their specific health and performance goals. Regardless of initial capacity, he believes that everyone can improve their current physical abilities. Paul takes a client-centered, whole-body approach when he provides physiotherapy care. He incorporates a variety of techniques and tools in his treatments, tailored to each client, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neurofunctional electro-acupuncture, soft tissue release, taping, education, and other modalities. Paul’s expertise includes the following: cardiovascular, neurological, and musculoskeletal rehabilitation;
injury prevention;
sports and athletic performance optimization; and
health promotion.
Paul graduated with his Master of Science in Physiotherapy from McMaster University (2012). Prior to this, he completed his Bachelor of Arts Degree with a Honours Major in Kinesiology at Redeemer University College (2010). Throughout his education, Paul received a number of awards and honours, including the Governor General’s Silver Medal (Redeemer, 2010) and the 2013 Faculty of Health Sciences Research Plenary Outstanding Achievement Award (McMaster).
A lifelong learner, Paul is enthusiastic about continuing education. Post-graduation, in addition to keeping abreast of current research in physiotherapy, Paul has completed extensive study of neurofunctional contemporary medical acupuncture and manual therapy. He achieved his certification as a Neurofunctional Sports Performance Practitioner in 2015. In 2019, Paul completed his Level 5 Diploma in Advanced Manual Therapy and also became a Fellow of the prestigious Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT).
During his time off, Paul has a range of interests and hobbies, including chess, a variety of sports, exercise, backwoods camping, and spending quality time with family and friends.
