Payton graduated from the Michener Institute with an Advanced Diploma in Chiropody in 2021. Prior to attending Michener, Payton studied at the University of Windsor where she received an Honours Bachelor of Human Kinetics with a specialization in Movement Science.
She started playing hockey at a young age and played competitively until university, then continued to play senior hockey in her hometown of Stratford before moving up north. Payton has a passion for health, fitness & sports. and has worked as a certified personal trainer. Engaging in sports and as a personal training has allowed Payton to develop a vast knowledge in sports rehabilitation, biomechanics & lower limb injuries. Before joining the Wasaga Family Foot & Orthotic Clinic she worked at The Waterloo Foot Clinic & Think Feet Family Foot Clinic. During her time there she practiced her full scope of chiropody with her passion in helping to create a personalized treatment plan for each patient to help alleviate pain & addressing all foot care needs. Payton has formed a firm grasp on therapeutic concepts ranging from pharmaceuticals, and wound care to orthotics and soft tissue surgeries.
Outside of work you can find Payton spending time outdoors with her boyfriend and adorable goldendoodle Oshie, working out at the gym enjoying time with family & friends.

Includes biomechanical assessment (weight bearing and non-weight bearing + gait analysis), Casting/3D Scanning for one pair of Custom Made Orthotics, fitting, review appointment, and adjustments within 3 months. This appointment is for individuals who have attempted conservative treatment measures and are interested in surgical intervention.

Although not required, our Foot Surgeon prefers a referral from a Chiropodist, family physician, or allied health profressional ahead of a bone surgery consultation. This appointment is for individuals who have attempted conservative treatment measures and are interested in surgical intervention. This is not OHIP covered.
