SavePeter has completed a 3000 hour massage therapy program with Kootenay Columbia College, which
includes 600 hours spent in the Nelson student clinic. He is experienced in deep tissue massage,
relaxation of the nervous system, and a variety of Swedish techniques.
Professionally, Peter comes from a decade of front line mental health work after graduating from
Acadia University with a degree in applied psychology. He has witnessed many stories of resilience and trauma and has developed a series of skills revolving around active non-judgmental listening that he is carrying into a new practice of massage.

Peter is focused on providing inclusive, attentive care tailored to your particular needs. He is deeply
interested in how stress is stored in the body and consciously cultivates a safe space to help you leave
what you can on the table, while giving your body space to facilitate healing and reduce pain.
After a decade of witnessing cost related barriers to care, Peter is excited to offer by-donation massages once a month as an opportunity to provide an affordable service to a rural community.
Peter would also like to acknowledgement the lack of
support that caregivers receive within our communities. A small series of reduced rate massages are available If you are a professional caregiver, or an individual who is supporting family members with development needs or who are approaching the end of life.
