Peter graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2012. He then worked as a kinesiologist for two years before pursuing a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta. As a physiotherapist since 2015, the part Peter enjoys most is getting to know his patients and he takes pride in helping them return to the activities they love to do.
Peter’s new passion in the athletics world is competing in triathlons! His involvement in these and a variety of sports fuels his emphasis on active therapy and the use of the right exercises in treatment plans. Peter has extended his knowledge of Physical Therapy with Orthopaedic Division's Manual Therapy Levels, Kinetacore Functional Dry Needling Levels, and GLA:D certifications for hip & knee Osteoarthritis.
Outside of the office, Peter loves spending time with his new baby girl, playing hockey, going golfing and participating in triathlon events. Oh, and he loves the Edmonton Oilers, but please don't hold that against him!

This session is designed to evaluate your golf swing mechanics and identify any movement deficiencies, muscle imbalances, or physical limitations that could affect your performance and/or increase the risk of injury. After a thorough assessment, a personalized treatment plan will be developed by our trained physiotherapist to address any issues and enhance your swing, flexibility, strength, and overall game performance.
A thorough history and physical examination will be performed with an individualized rehabilitation program created. Treatment included if indicated.

Involves a detailed review of medical/symptom history (bladder, bowel, sexual function) followed by a physical exam. This includes assessing breathing, posture, and hip/back movement, along with an optional internal exam to evaluate pelvic muscle strength, tension, and coordination
Pelvic floor physiotherapy is a specialized, evidence-based treatment focusing on the muscles, ligaments, and connective tissues supporting the pelvic organs. It addresses issues like incontinence, pelvic pain, prolapse, and sexual dysfunction through internal/external assessments, targeted exercises
This appointment is for existing patients that have not been into the clinic in 6+ months, or are booking for a new issue/complaint.
