Pete Yee — MScPT, MSc(Kin), CSEP-CEP (High Performance Specialization)
Pete made his way back to Edmonton after escaping to the Okanagan following the completion of his physiotherapy degree at the University of Alberta. Prior to entering the physiotherapy program, he obtained a Masters of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Saskatchewan. During his time at the University of Saskatchewan, he was a varsity athlete and member of the Sports Medicine team under the mentorship of National team therapists. He also provided Strength and Conditioning services to a variety of teams and community members.
His area of practice focuses on, but is not limited to orthopaedics, sports injuries, and neurological conditions.
Pete’s philosophy focuses on a combination of manual therapy, exercise and education, allowing for an active partnership between the therapist and client during the recovery process. He has additional training in IMS/dry needling, temporomandibular disorders, shoulder pathologies, headaches/dizziness, and concussion management.
Away from the office Pete enjoys Olympic Weightlifting, running, craft beers, hiking and spending time with his wife and kids.

This involves a detailed discussion and physical assessment with patients to narrow down their injury or condition. During this session you will also be provided with treatment techniques to help you reach your goals (manual therapy, exercise, self-management techniques, IMS/Acupuncture).
During treatment sessions, patients will be provided with a wide range of treatment techniques in order to reach their goals. Each treatment session will begin with a reassessment in order to determine the future direction of treatment and to focus on improvements in pain, range of motion, and stiffness. If you have been a patient before but it has been more than 6 months since your last visit or you are coming for a new injury, please book an assessment.
