Registered Physiotherapist
My love of exercise and physical activity make me an ardent advocate for the healthy lifestyle. Using hands-on treatments with my clients, I help them return to the activities they love and to maintain a strong, well-functioning body.
My interest in physiotherapy was originally kindled by my own experience of injury and rehabilitation as a competitive soccer player. Volunteering with the McMaster University Physical Activity Centre of Excellence cemented my desire to pursue a career in physical rehabilitation.
After obtaining my BSc in Kinesiology with Honours from McMaster University, I acquired an MSc in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. Since then, I have pursued postgraduate education in manual therapy, obtaining my Level 1 Manual Therapy Certification and Soft Tissue Release Certification. Currently, I am completing the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program at McMaster University. Future plans include receiving training in Manual and Manipulative Therapy through the Orthopedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, as well as training in visceral manipulation.
