Born and raised in Timmins Rebecca's passion has always been learning, practicing and helping people achieve active healthy lifestyles. After completing a four year degree in Kinesiology from Brock University in 2006 she worked in the field of Kinesiology performing Functional Capacity Evaluation testing, pre-employment and job match testing as well as performed Ergonomic assessment and Physical Demand Analysis. She also help organize and run Cardiac and Chronic disease programs for clients which focused on improving overall lifestyle through education and physical exercise programs. Rebecca also enjoyed working one-on-one with personal clients as a trainer to help clients achieve personal goals including completing half marathon races and climbing Kilimanjaro.
In 2013 the practice of Kinesiology become a regulated profession in Ontario. Rebecca was able to be grandfathered in from her work and experience in the field and became a Registered Kinesiologist (R.Kin) in 2013.
Rebecca has pursued her education as a lifestyle coach by achieving a level two certification as a Health Lifestyle Coach through the C.H.E.K (Corrective Holistic Exercise Kinesiology) institute in California (2011). She also studies functional Nutrition through the Institute of Functional Medicine. She has also received a level 4 training in Touch for Health Practice in which she studied at the Applied Kinesiology Institute in North Carolina (2018).
With the desire to learn more about whole body wellness and expand her practice as a health practitioner Rebecca returned to school in 2014 to learn the practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Rebecca studied at the school of Eight Branches Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Toronto where she completed her diploma of Acupuncture and Moxibustion (2016). Since graduating she has successfully completed the Pan-Can examinations and has become a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac) for the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturist of Ontario (CTCMPAO).
As a passionate practitioner of Alternative and Energy Medicine, Rebecca's goal is to treat the root cause of the body’s imbalances which lead to pain and dis-ease and help her clients achieve optimal personal wellness.

Cupping therapy uses small cups as suction devices on the skin. The suction and negative pressure provided by the cups breaks up blockages by drawing the congestion of blood and energy to the surface. Treatment involves ~ 5 min of moving cups followed by 15-20 min cup retention.
Based on the Initial Assessment, subsequent treatments will focus on the primary goals as set out during the initial intake. Pulse and Tongue diagnosis along with with general questions will be re-assessed prior to beginning each session to monitor treatment progress.
