For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated with pregnancy, the miracle of birth, and sweet little babies! As the years went on, this interest inevitably led to a passion for maternal and newborn care.
This calling led me to pursue an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree (Health Studies) and a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree (Midwifery) from McMaster University. To broaden my education I have completed my lactation training and I am a fully certified IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant).
Having had three beautiful sons of my own, I understand and empathize with the anxiety and fear many women associate with pregnancy, labour, delivery, and caring for a newborn. Your journey into parenthood will be supported through both my personal experience and education, giving you the confidence you need during this very special time.

A free 15 minute consultation which gives you the opportunity to meet your Doula and ask your questions before choosing your care package.
Book this appointment if you have not seen our lactation consultant before. A lactation visit will include the following: History: Health history of both mother and baby, including pregnancy and birth and opportunity for you to tell your story. Weight: Baby’s naked weight + Pre- and post-feeding weights Assessment: Mother’s breasts and nipples, infant’s oral anatomy, latch, positions and more Care plan and next steps: Care plan created together that you are comfortable with + that aligns with your goals. Follow-up visit may be recommended. Some support available through text following our visit.
