Richard brings a unique blend of experience and passion to our clinic. Formerly a scientist in the pharmaceutical industry, Richard’s journey into osteopathy was inspired by his personal experiences as an athlete in Olympic weightlifting and powerlifting. Through his own injuries and a desire to optimize his health, he explored various therapeutic modalities, ultimately leading him to pursue osteopathy at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in 2018.
Richard’s background as an athlete has given him a deep understanding of the body’s mechanics and the importance of holistic care. He is dedicated to addressing not just symptoms but also the root causes of his patients’ concerns, providing personalized care that meets each individual’s unique needs. With a strong foundation in manual therapy and a commitment to promoting wellness, Richard is excited to apply his skills to enhance the health and well-being of those under his care.
Outside the clinic, Richard enjoys staying active through rock climbing, golf, and outdoor adventures. He’s also a coffee enthusiast who loves perfecting his espresso or pour-over technique and exploring local coffee shops and roasters around the area.
