Richard is a Registered Massage Therapist in Coquitlam and South Surrey with over a decade of experience in clinical and sports massage. He has been helping clients improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance performance since becoming an RMT in 2013, Recently, he has expanded his practice to include Fascial Stretch Therapy.
With a strong background in sports therapy, Richard has worked with athletes across many disciplines, including rugby (Pacific Nations Cup, HSBC Canada Sevens), hockey (Vancouver and Abbotsford Canucks), football (BC Lions), and tennis (WTA and ATP events), as well as at international competitions such as the Invictus and Americas Masters Games.
Richard believes the best outcomes come when clients play an active role in their recovery. He works collaboratively with each individual and the Catalyst team to design personalized treatment plans that support specific health goals, whether for athletic performance, injury recovery, or everyday wellness.
Outside the clinic, Richard stays involved in the sports community, providing pitchside care for local rugby and youth hockey teams. When he’s not supporting athletes, you’ll find him paddle boarding, kayaking, or catching a good movie.
