Richard is a Registered Massage Therapist with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University. His treatment approach combines manual therapy techniques with individualized exercise programming.
Richard strives to build his clients' confidence by providing evidence-based education and fostering self-efficacy. Richard has experience working with clients ranging from office workers to professional athletes. He loves helping clients perform better and be more resilient to injury, whether that be in daily life or competitive sport.
Richard has a keen interest in the treatment of climbing injuries, non-specific lower back pain, and chronic pain. Outside of the clinic Richard is an avid climber, backcountry skier, and mountain sports athlete - he can often be found strength training to complement his next outdoor project.
