This is a specialized initial subjective assessment, object testing and treatment for a person who has experienced a concussion or has post-concussion syndrome. This will include 1 or more of the following: a cranial nerve exam, neurological exam, cervical spine exam, Buffalo treadmill test, visual ocular motor screening and/or a vestibular system assessment.
Specifically only coming in for Dry Needling or Acupuncture with no further treatment.
Long-term disability physiotherapy focuses on helping individuals manage ongoing conditions, improve function, and maintain independence over time. Treatment is personalized and may include therapeutic exercise, pain management strategies, mobility training, and education to support daily activities and prevent further decline. The goal is to enhance quality of life, promote safe movement, and support long-term physical well-being.

It will include 1 or more of the following: postural exam, range-of-motion (ROM) testing, strength testing, neurodynamic testing, muscle palpation and joint play testing. This will also include a cervical spine exam.

An initial one-on-one assessment of any condition that affects the vestibular system after a work-related injury. This can include; concussions and post-concussion syndrome, benign paroxysmal benign vertigo (BPPV), cervicogenic dizziness or dizziness that is caused by the neck, and many more.

A one-on-one follow-up treatment that will focus on managing the vestibular system after a work-related injury. This can include one or more of the following: canal repositioning maneuvers (i.e. Epley's maneuver), visual therapy (i.e. gaze stability training), proprioceptive training (i.e. balance training), and more.
