Jerry Nie is a registered massage therapist who graduated from Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy in 2011, certified in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University in 2012, and previously graduated from the China Beijing International Acupuncture Training Center in 2005. Jerry uses his dual knowledge to create a practice that integrates classic therapeutic techniques with acupuncture. By blending both Chinese and Western massage methods, Jerry offers unique services, including dry needling and cupping therapy as part of massage treatments.
Jerry has over a decade of experience in multidisciplinary clinics and recreational therapy centers. Jerry believes in a holistic approach to pain management, focusing on the root causes of pain to promote relief and long-term wellness. To ensure clients health and safety, Jerry practices with PPE and gloves during treatments.

Cupping therapy involves the application of plastic cups on the skin using a pump-like applicator to adjust the level of suction. The cups can stay in place and/or be manually manipulated by the RMT using a variety of techniques to lift and spread the tissue. This increases circulation at a superficial level and specifically targets the fascial layer between the skin and the muscles to reduce adhesions and pain, increase range of motion and improve posture.
