Rob was born and raised in New Westminster. He later attended the University of Lethbridge
where he played on the Men’s Soccer team and received his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology
(2006). After working in the rehabilitation field for a few years, Rob moved to Perth, Australia
and graduated with his Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from Curtin University (2012). Rob
received the award for the highest clinical marks among his graduating class.
Rob is a trained manual therapist and implements a variety of hands-on techniques to address
muscle and joint injuries. Rob has completed his Level 3 upper and lower body courses with the
Canadian Physiotherapy Association (Orthopaedic Division). He is certified to practice functional
dry needling, also known as intramuscular stimulation (IMS). Additionally, Rob has completed
vestibular rehabilitation training. This allows him to treat common causes of vertigo and other
forms of dizziness.
Rob is a certified Shift Concussion provider after completing the Shift Concussion Management
Program. Rob has experience working with a variety of patients who have sustained
concussions, including athletes and individuals who have been in motor vehicle or workplace
accidents.
When he’s not at the clinic, Rob stays active by playing hockey, training for his next marathon
and chasing after his three young children.
