Roman is a performance-driven physiotherapist based in Toronto, known for his work with recreational, varsity, and elite athletes across the OHL, NHL, MLB, NBA, MLS, CFL, Paralympic, and Olympic levels. His approach blends advanced manual therapy with movement-based rehabilitation to help active individuals recover stronger, move better, and perform at their best.
With a special interest in running-related injuries and performance optimization, Roman offers personalized care plans that address the full kinetic chain—from gait mechanics and stride efficiency to mobility, strength, and tissue recovery.
His treatment model integrates:
Contemporary Medical Neurofunctional Acupuncture
Dry needling
Joint mobilization and manipulation
Myofascial and neurodynamic release
Corrective, performance, and therapeutic exercise
Roman’s clinical philosophy stems from his own journey through injury and chronic pain as a student and athlete. This first-hand experience informs his belief that movement, when applied intentionally, is one of the most powerful tools for recovery, longevity, and pain management.
He conducts thorough, full-body assessments to identify root causes—not just symptoms—and tailors each session to the client’s goals, needs, and lifestyle. Roman takes pride in empowering clients to understand their bodies, take control of their rehab, and adopt a preventative mindset to long-term health and performance.
Whether you're preparing for your first 10K, returning from injury, or chasing a personal best, Roman is passionate about helping runners stay healthy, consistent, and confident on the road, track, or trail.
