Originally from Kelowna, Rupy completed her Bachelors of Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia Okanagan.
She moved to the big city of Vancouver to further her education at the University of British Columbia to obtain her Masters of Physical Therapy.
Rupy’s journey in this career started with seeing people around her suffer from chronic injuries and pain and she always wanted to be able to help them, but with a client-centred approach. That being said, Rupy enjoys collaborating with clients on their health journey to help build autonomy and confidence.
Rupy continued her training with the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, obtaining her certification in Level 1, Level 2 Lower. She is also certified in dry needling (AN-IMS 1 by Foundations Health Education), and she has completed her training in Calibrate Clinical Pilates Level 1. Rupy enjoys integrating Clinical Pilate exercises and principles as part of her treatments, while also utilizing hands-on techniques.
When not working, Rupy enjoys spending her time trying new experiences, whether this may be seeing a new area in the lower mainland, or a new cafe. Rupy also enjoys working on her golf swing and maximizing her time at the beach.
Rupy is fluent in both English and Punjabi.
