Dr. Ryan Hanson began his education at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, New Brunswick where he received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Following that he moved to Toronto, Ontario where he attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College to pursue his dreams of becoming a chiropractor.
Dr. Hanson grew up in the small town of St. Stephen, New Brunswick. Although he enjoyed his time in Toronto, he is excited to be back to the Maritimes and begin his career in Moncton. Beyond that he is looking forward to becoming involved in the community and further exploring the province.
In the clinic Dr. Hanson takes an evidence-based approach to care by keeping up with research to ensure his patients are getting the best possible treatment. He believes that each patient should be treated individually by determining what their goals are throughout the treatment plan and helping them to achieve those goals. Dr. Hanson uses a combination of manual therapy, including manipulation and soft tissue therapy, exercise therapy, therapeutic modalities, and education to assist patients in reaching their goals.
Outside the office Dr. Hanson enjoys collecting vinyl records, attending concerts, and taking up new hobbies such as golf and rock climbing.
