Dr. Sabina Jaipaul is a registered acupuncturist in Alberta and graduate of the Calgary College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. Originally from London, UK, she spent a decade as a yoga teacher before discovering her calling in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
After experiencing burnout during her first career in finance, Sabina found sanctuary and renewal through yoga—a transformative experience that shaped her holistic approach to wellness. She trained with acclaimed modern yoga teachers in London before relocating to Calgary in 2021 to pursue acupuncture studies. Sabina holds advanced yoga certifications and has thousands of hours of teaching experience across Vinyasa, Forrest Yoga, Perinatal Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and her favorite—Yin Yoga.
Sabina uniquely blends her deep yoga background with functional movement helping people not just feel better, but move better. Class includes proper palpation techniques to identify muscular imbalances of the knee, with proper needling techniques to increase treatment efficacy. Part 1 covers the anterior aspect of the knee. This class consists of lecture and hands on practice. Class materials will be provided so participants can focus on learning. Class is limited to 6 participants to maximize one on one learning with the instructor. A minimum of 2 participants is needed to run this seminar. Prerequisites: Must be a registered acupuncturist in good standing. Attendees must have a solid grasp on acupuncture point locations.

Acupuncture is performed in a group setting where you receive your treatment in an open space either on a treatment table, or lounge chair at your allotted time. It is recommended to first have an initial consultation to build a relationship with your practitioner to ensure enough time to come up with a treatment plan so your session will still be tailored to your goals and needs.
