Saja has been working as a physiotherapist in the Sea to Sky corridor since 2017. In practice, Saja utilizes an individualized approach to care for each patient, going through a comprehensive full body assessment to identify the root cause of your pain and understand the unique drivers that are contributing to your specific injury. Your treatment plan will include a combination of manual therapy, soft tissue techniques, IMS (dry needling), and exercise to help you return to activity as quickly as possible. She believes in treating the whole person to make you stronger than before your injury and adapting the treatment plan to fit your individual goals and lifestyle. Her expertise in both clinical pilates and gym based strength training will help you reach your goals, whatever they may be.
Saja completed both her Masters of Physiotherapy Degree (2017) and her Bachelor’s of Kinesiology Degree at UBC (2012). She has additional training in orthopaedics, IMS (dry needling), concussion management, core integration, and the Connect Therapy Sports Thorax. She is also a graduate of the comprehensive Integrated Systems Model (ISM) training which is a full body approach to assessment and treatment. Saja has done her Clinical Pilates training though Calibrate Pilates and enjoys utilizing movement and the Pilates repertoire into her practice. She has a special interest in breath and deep core strengthening as well as restoring and maintaining movement and strength during pregnancy and the postpartum period.
Outside of work Saja enjoys mountain biking, downhill and cross-country skiing, trail running, and hiking with her family.
