Samantha is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) and a Naturopath with the Academy of Naturopaths and Naturotherapists of Canada. Samantha has completed additional training in the area of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), neurobiology of trauma and Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA).
Uncomfortable emotions such as anxiety, depression and anger are a natural part of life- my aim is to provide a compassionate, non-judgmental environment to express and understand your emotions, thoughts and behaviours. You are the expert of you, my aim is to help guide you through this journey in a collaborative, client-focused approach.
Together we can learn how to cope with emotions, heal trauma and develop self-compassion to enhance your life, move toward your goals and develop self confidence. I use elements of a variety of therapeutic approaches, such as acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness, narrative and attachment theory to help you understand why you are struggling and techniques to help you thrive.
