Samantha is a passionate and instinctual practitioner who started her healing journey at a young age. Her first exposure to alternative healing, was with Reiki, via her mother at the age of 8. In October 2014 she graduated with honors and at the top of her class at The International Academy of Massage. After 9 years in practice as an RMT, she has shifted her practice to a more holistic direction.
Once an owner of multiple multi-disciplinary clinics in Kanata, Samantha has since resigned and has begun her solo practice here at Alleviate. She created S. Hughes Holistics, to encompass her unique style of treatment, passion for selfcare and natural gifts.
Samantha often combines multiple modalities such as massage, reflexology, cranio-sacral and Reiki, in order to work with her clients’ individual needs. She is a Green Envee Wellness Spa Partner, with further training through this superior line. She looks forward to continuing her training in Aesthetics.
Further to this, Samantha preforms sound and/or frequency healing and intuitive work. Her goal is to approach every client holistically, incorporating relief and care of the physical body, creating a safe and non-judgmental space for the psyche and providing comfort and validation through spiritual guidance.
