Sam is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner (M.OMSc) and a certified member of OSTCAN. She graduated from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy, a rigorous, 4 year program with 4200 hours of education and 1000 hours of supervised, hands-on clinical experience.
**Style of Osteopathic Manual Therapy:**
Sam takes a patient-centered approach to care, focusing on identifying and addressing the root cause of dysfunction rather than simply managing symptoms. Her goal is to help her patients move more freely, improve overall function, and support the body’s natural ability to heal and self-regulate. No treatment is ever the same; Sam meets the body where it's at in that moment and applies treatment to the areas the body needs. From there, Sam may use joint mobilization, soft tissue techniques, lymphatic drainage and visceral mobilization to best serve the body.
