I'm dedicated to providing care and promoting well being through therapeutic massage and patient education. My approach to treatment is slow and sustained for deep relief and relaxation of the nervous system. I believe that a good practitioner is attentive and a thoughtful listener and I utilize these skills to help tailor a treatment plan that is unique to you and your circumstances, whether that involves pain and symptom management, rehabilitation from injury or the too-often overlooked benefits of stress relief and relaxation.
I graduated from the Sutherland Chan School and Teaching Clinic and have been in practice since 2016. I started my career at Spring Wellness Clinic and was happy to take over ownership and operations in 2018. Earlier in my career I also worked at the Altum Health Outpatient Physiotherapy Clinic and the Artists Health Centre, both located at Toronto Western Hospital.
Over the years I have gained clinical experience working with a variety of patients and conditions. My experience includes working with high-risk pregnancy cases, post-surgical breast cancer concerns, lymphatic drainage, scar work and various other musculoskeletal issues. I have a special interest in working with patients with TMJD and with repetitive strain concerns related to the performing arts. I have done further education in the areas of TMJD, pelvic heath, perinatal care, manual lymphatic drainage and trauma-informed practice.
Above all, I want you to feel good in your body and so it is important to me to provide a safer space that is inclusive and accepting of all bodies, genders and abilities. You, yes - you, are welcome here.
