As a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Work and Social Service Workers, I have a Master's degree in Social Work and am qualified to practice psychotherapy. I bring years of experience and a passion for helping individuals towards overall wellness. Since 2013, I have been working in the field of Social Work and have been providing psychotherapy since 2018.
I utilize a Relational Therapy approach that recognizes the importance of relationships with oneself and others in the healing process. In my practice, I integrate elements from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and Expressive Art Therapy to address a wide range of mental health struggles, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, substance use, anger, and trauma.
When I am not working, I enjoy exploring new foods, going to the gym, and watching TV shows. My diverse interests and background in therapy allow me to bring a unique perspective to my work and effectively support individuals from various backgrounds.
If you are interested in working with me, please contact me at sarahd@stonesilo.ca or through the book appointment link. I am here to support you on your path toward wellness and growth.
