Sarah graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in April 2019, where she was trained in multiple modalities. During her clinic time she worked with substance abuse patients and college athletes; she treated pregnant mothers during the clinic in-reach and at the outreach program in New Westminster Hospital, where some women had given birth only hours before. She has helped the public with all manner of conditions with her moderate pressure. "No pain, no gain" is *not* her motto.
Sarah has completed all levels of Dr. Vodder's Manual Lymph Drainage, a light touch technique focusing on the lymphatic system. She is now trained to treat many conditions with this technique, including, but not limited to: swelling due to a variety of conditions, medication-based edema, sinus congestion, migraines, insomnia, hangovers, varicose veins, pregnancy swelling pre/post-natal, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, concussions, mastitis/breast congestion (related to breast feeding), constipation, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, PMS, endometriosis, also pre-surgically to reduce swelling, bruising, and post-surgical pain. She can treat immediately post-surgery near wound sites and stitches and after injuries where stitches may or may not be involved.
In her free time she likes to keep changing her hair colour, crochet, read novels, and binge-watch TV/films; her preferences are historical fiction and science fiction. She does all this with her adorable American Cocker Spaniel and mini-Maine Coon cat at her side, usually trying to eat her yarn.
