Sarah is a Registered Massage Therapist and a 2016 graduate of the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy.
Sarah’s treatments are often described as both deeply therapeutic and profoundly relaxing, allowing the body to release tension while supporting overall nervous system regulation.
**Treatment Approach**
Sarah draws from a range of techniques depending on what the body needs that day, including Swedish massage, myofascial release, dynamic release and movement-based techniques, joint mobilization, trigger point therapy, gentle stretching, facial and jaw massage, and craniosacral techniques. Her treatments often focus on relieving tension patterns in the neck, shoulders, and jaw, where stress and postural strain commonly accumulate. Effective treatment often involves working thoughtfully through interconnected areas of the body rather than focusing only on the primary area of pain or tension. Allowing time to address underlying patterns can create deeper, longer-lasting relief and support the body’s natural healing processes.
Sarah particularly enjoys working with patients experiencing postural imbalances, headaches and migraines, myofascial trigger points, chronic pain, acute injuries, neurological conditions, women’s health concerns, and stress-related conditions. With a long-standing interest in healing and whole-person wellness, Sarah has also studied herbal medicine, nutrition, and Ayurveda, which continue to inform her thoughtful and integrative approach to care.
Her approach to massage therapy is grounded in a comprehensive understanding of the musculoskeletal system and a genuine passion for patient education. Sarah believes that lasting results are achieved through collaboration, and she supports patients with individualized home care exercises and practical guidance to encourage continued progress between treatments.
In addition to full-body therapeutic massage, Sarah offers therapeutic facial massage to address jaw tension, headaches, facial holding patterns, and stress-related tension in the face, neck, and head. Treatments may include external facial techniques as well as optional intra-oral (buccal) work, performed only with informed consent and when clinically appropriate.
Sarah looks forward to supporting your recovery, resilience, and long-term well-being.
