Sarah graduated in 2013 with her Masters of Physical Therapy degree from Western University in London, Ontario. Prior to this, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Saint Mary’s University in her hometown of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Sarah is a driven and compassionate therapist who strives for excellence in all areas of patient care. Sarah has been a key member of our team since 2017. She takes her time with each person in order to give her patients the tools, education and motivation to recover and thrive after any injury. Since taking her first McKenzie course in 2015, she was so excited to continue learning the system ; she completed the four main courses and then passed the certification exam in 2018. She has also completed other post-graduate training that includes Manual Therapy level one, Mulligan techniques for the lower extremities, and other recent courses to supplement shoulder and foot injury management and a clinical skills update for mechanical diagnosis and therapy (MDT). Although Sarah grew up by the Atlantic Ocean, she has settled nicely in Calgary and enjoys exploring the mountains and the city with her husband and dog (Nova), and enjoys doing some yoga along the way!

Physiotherapy MVA Assessments are for any one whose been in a Motor Vehicle Accident injury in Alberta within the last 2 weeks. Our skilled physiotherapists take a detailed history and do a thorough physical exam and analysis of your injury. This appointment takes about an hour and includes a treatment. We will fill out all required paperwork for your insurance company to set up direct billing. We can help you navigate any paperwork required of you as well.

TMJ Treatments can be booked as a follow up session if you've had your assessment at our clinic within the last 3 months. This session takes about 1/2 hour and the therapist will re-evaluate your symptoms and perform the necessary treatments while educating you on self-management at home.
Physiotherapy Treatments following your assessment will take approximately 30 minutes and are one on one with your therapist.
Physiotherapy Treatment for those over 65 years of age - Please only book if you are a CURRENT (within 3 months) returning patient and have completed an assessment for this current episode
Please book a Vestibular Assessment if you have symptoms such as vertigo, dizziness, spinning, nausea and vomiting, lightheadedness, ringing in the ears (tinnitus), double vision, or impaired balance. This session will take about one hour and the therapist will take a detailed medical history and perform a thorough assessment to determine the cause of your symptoms. After obtaining a diagnosis, a treatment will be given during the same session.
Vestibular Treatments can be booked as a follow up session if you've had your assessment at our clinic within the last 3 months. This session takes about 1/2 hour and the therapist will re-evaluate your symptoms and perform the necessary treatments while educating you on self-management at home.
Alberta residents can book virtual physiotherapy or tele-health appointments. The assessment (also includes first treatment) takes approximately 60 minutes. These appointments happen FACE TO FACE online through a private and secure virtual visual connection. Most extended health benefit plans cover virtual physiotherapy at the same rates as in-person treatment. We have completed well over 2000 virtual physiotherapy sessions and both our patients and therapists find it very effective and efficient.

We love having the opportunity to see your ergonomics, your home environment or work out equipment and to make sure you are progressing and doing your exercises correctly.
