Sarah is a Speech-Language Pathologist who completed her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology with a specialization in Neuroscience at University of New Brunswick before earning her Master of Clinical Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Western University.

Sarah has experience working with preschool-aged children with a wide range of communication and developmental needs, including speech delays, early language development, autism-related communication differences, and fluency challenges. She has also worked closely with children accessing autism services and has experience supporting families through early intervention during some of the most important stages of communication development.

She has a strong interest in early language development and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), and is passionate about helping children access communication systems that allow them to express themselves in ways that feel functional, meaningful, and supportive of everyday life. She values working collaboratively with families to build communication skills early while creating therapy plans that align with each child’s unique strengths and goals.

Sarah’s clinical approach is grounded in evidence-based practice, combining current research, family-centered care, and thoughtful clinical decision-making to create individualized therapy plans that support meaningful progress over time. She is committed to ongoing learning and values collaboration, mentorship, and working alongside interdisciplinary teams to provide thoughtful, coordinated care.

Based in Halifax, Sarah provides speech-language therapy services to children and families both in clinic and within the community.
