Sarah grew up in Surrey, British Columbia and completed her Bachelor’s of Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia. After competing for the UBC women’s soccer team, she transitioned into athletic training and worked with the UBC men’s rugby team for two years.
Following graduation, her passion for travel took her to New Zealand, where she volunteered as a sideline medic for Wellington’s Marist St. Pats Rugby Club. It was here that she decided she wanted to pursue Physiotherapy and moved to Halifax to do so.
Sarah graduated from Dalhousie in 2021 with a Master of Science in Physiotherapy. Her primary interests are sports injuries, orthopaedic conditions, and active rehabilitation. She is well-versed in the return-to-sport process and offers taping for preventative and rehabilitative purposes. Sarah is a CCMI-certified concussion provider and has completed her Level 1 Dry Needling with Acupuncture Canada. She is currently pursuing her Sports Physiotherapy Certificate, the first of two levels required to become an internationally-recognized sport Physiotherapist. This has led her to working with many local sports teams and organizations including rugby, soccer, and lacrosse.
Sarah’s main sport growing up was soccer. When her career ended, she discovered a world of other activities that have kept her busy since. She currently spends time boxing, snowboarding, trail running, mountain biking, and working out at the gym.

Please book this if you are seeking an assessment or treatment for concussion related injuries.
Important to note at this time Jessica will be treating female urinary incontinence only. What to expect: A detailed subjective history — during this time we will discuss your past medical history, including your pregnancy stories, specific questions about bladder and bowel function as well as sexual function. We will review the anatomy of the pelvic floor muscles necessary for assessment, as well as a step by step process and discussion of what will occur with the objective digital palpation. Objective assessment — the tissue health, including strength and tone will be assessed via both external and internal palpation. If you are not sure about external palpations, no problem! We can work with whatever you are comfortable with. Finishing up the session we will review with education and a treatment plan.
