Sarah is a physiotherapist with dual interests in orthopedic and pelvic health physiotherapy.
She graduated from the University of Alberta with a Master's of Science in Physiotherapy in 2011 after completing a Kinesiology degree with a minor in Athletic Therapy. She enjoys treating a wide array of musculoskeletal injuries, and has completed courses in the fields of orthopedic manual therapy, dry needling/IMS, acupuncture, and functional movement. Sarah’s practice has largely been influenced by the years she spent working with the National Alpine Ski team and the Canadian Sport Institute. In this setting, she rehabilitated acute, chronic and post-surgical injuries primarily affecting alpine, ski cross, nordic and slopestyle ski athletes. Highlights include working as a medical team member at the 2018 Winter Olympic Games and two FIS World Championships.
Sarah has been treating female and male clients with pelvic floor dysfunction since 2019. She loves supporting pregnant and post-partum clients, and has taken many courses related to pregnancy, including treatment of pelvic girdle pain, pelvic organ prolapse, C-section and abdominal wall rehabilitation. In affiliation with the Canadian Sport Institute, Sarah treats National team athletes with pelvic floor dysfunction and is passionate about treating active individuals within the intersection of pelvic health and sports performance worlds.
Sarah grew up in Canmore and feels fortunate to be working and raising her three young children here. She is a former cross country ski athlete who enjoys anything that involves travelling up and down mountains on foot, skis or bike. Although these days she is just as likely to be found at playgrounds as in the mountains!

Vestibular rehabilitation includes the treatment of dizziness or vertigo, visual disturbances, headaches and balance issues related to a dysfunction of our vestibular systems including our inner ear and visual components. This dysfunction may be related to head trauma, ageing, inner ear infections or medication. Treatment will include an assessment by a qualified physiotherapist trained in vestibular treatment, followed by a comprehensive rehabilitation program. This may include manoeuvers to ‘reset’ the inner ear, balance exercises, visual exercises, creation of management strategies and training of alternate systems to assist the vestibular system.
